We have identified 3 main groups which are benefiting from the Centre.
- Home based businesses – wishing to grow to the next level and add another degree of professionalism by operating in a business environment. Australian Bureau of Statistics has identified that as many as 60% of Australian Small Businesses are home based.
- New Start-up Businesses – who have just commenced or are about to commence operating. Their primary concern is the high start-up costs and long commitments in a commercial environment. Our aim is to provide an environment which allows testing of their business concept while reducing many of the ongoing risks should a business fail.
- Relocating/Expanding Businesses – who are looking to expand into Ballarat who need short term tenancy while they “set up shop” or test commercial viability in the region.

The Centre tenants may stay with us for up to 3 years or until they have improved their viability and sustainability and desire to expand out in to the general commercial community. This then allows an opportunity for another business to start and grow at the Centre.
